Malmö has been a culinary stronghold for many years with topclass restaurants. Therefore, it feels natural that we now have a restaurant with star status in Guide Michelin and BiB Gourmand respectively.

Malmö currently has one Michelin restaurant with star status, the 2-star Vollmers.
Restaurant Vollmers has thus for several years remained in the absolute top of the Swedish culinary fine room.

In Sweden there is a total of 19 Michelin starred restaurants. At present, there are one 3-star, three 2-star and fifteen 1-star restaurants throughout the country.

In Malmö the restaurants Namu and Ruths has got the award BiB Gourmand from Michelin, which shows that they offer well prepared food at a reasonable price.
