Hyllie

The Hyllie project is perhaps the utmost key component of the future Malmö.
Hyllie is the second, after Western Harbour, huge urban project that will furthermore change the skyline of the city and become another perfect place for living, shopping, working and fun.

Two of the most exciting projects in Hyllie are the new multi-purpose arena, Malmö Arena, already in use, and the Emporia shopping mall. Thanks to the new railway link, City Tunnel, trains from Copenhagen H stop here just after 27-30 minutes, and reach the city centre after 7 more minutes.

The Emporia Mall
A mighty mall with ca 200 shops and boutiques, and approximately 30 restaurants, diners and cafés is being built next to the Arena. The complex is designed by Gert Wingårdh Architects.

Point Hyllie
There has been a couple of different projects of a sky scraper  - Scandinavian Tower (later called Malmö Tower) – before everybody finally settled for Point Hyllie to be built at this new city district. The tower has been re-designed by the architect company CF Møller.

Point Hyllie will have approximately 45 000 square metres of space to fill with apartments, shops and offices.

The entire project comprises four building complexes. The highest will have 27 floors which thereby will make it the second highest residential building in Sweden.
