Ideon in the neighbour university town Lund is one of the largest breeding grounds for tomorrow´s entrepreneurs in Scandinavia. Ideon Science Park has about 260 companies with a total of 3,000 employees - mostly with ICT and telecom, and life science profiles.

In Malmö there is Medeon - a science park for the life sciences, with about 30 companies working with differnt aspects of medical and health research.
The park is close to the city centre, and new buildings are planned that will add to the area’s attractive profile and atmosphere.
It is owned by Malmö Stad and Wihlborgs.

It has close connections to Ideon in Lund and the Lund Institute of Technology.
